Would you like to write for the CargoPlanning blog? Below is everything you need to send us an article.
What we write about:
- We publish articles about logistics, supply chain, road, sea and rail transport, warehousing and related sectors.
- Our readers are business owners and logistics managers — people looking for something they can put into practice on Monday morning, not general theory.
What we need:
- The article title — the first line, marked with # if you write in Markdown, or as the title in the Word or PDF document
- The text — between 500 and 1500 words, original and not published anywhere else
- Your name — as you want it to appear as the author
- A headline image — in .jpg or .png format, at least 770×520 pixels, related to the topic. Larger is fine: we fit it to the size used on the site without changing its proportions. Smaller we cannot use — enlarged, it looks washed out.
Without any of these we cannot publish, but we will tell you exactly what is missing.
Good to add:
- A few lines about you — who you are and what you do. They appear below the article and can include a link to your website.
- A profile photo or your company logo — in .jpg or .png format. We fit it to the size used on the site; without one, we use the CargoPlanning logo.
How to send it:
- By email, to guest-post@blog.cargoplanning.com: directly in the body of the email, or as an attached document — Word .docx or PDF.
- We cannot read .doc (Word 97-2003), RTF or OpenDocument files, nor a scanned PDF (a photo of the pages) or a password-protected one — if you send it that way, we will ask you to resend it in another format.
- Each file must be under 40 MB. Anything over the limit is not taken into account, because the email would not reach us in full either. If the image is too large, make it smaller and send it again — we will also let you know when this happens.
- Formatting is kept exactly as you wrote it: bold stays bold, italics stay italics, subheadings and lists stay the same. We do not rewrite your article.
Links:
- You can add a link to your website in the author description, and in the article you can refer to any resource relevant to the topic.
- We do not publish affiliate links, links to sales pages or links unrelated to the text.
- If you like the article and share it yourself, we are glad — but it is not a requirement.
What happens after you send it:
- We confirm that we have received it. If the article qualifies, we translate it into all the languages of the site and prepare it for publication.
- If something is missing or does not fit, you receive a message saying exactly what needs to change — not a flat refusal.
We reserve the right to edit, to refuse publication or to remove any content from the site.
